Angular 20 support ends on 28 November 2026

· Menno-Paul Schreuder

On 28 November 2026 Angular 20 receives its last security fixes. What that means, which versions remain supported, and what your options are.

  • Angular
  • Security

On 28 November 2026, Angular 20 reaches the end of its long-term support. From then on, the Angular team no longer publishes fixes for it, security patches included. Angular 19 and older are already unsupported.

Still supported after that date:

  • Angular 21, in long-term support until June 2027
  • Angular 22, actively supported until June 2027 and in long-term support until June 2028

Your application will keep running on 28 November. What changes is that new vulnerabilities in Angular 20 won't be fixed, and libraries will gradually drop support for it.

You have three options: upgrade, pay for extended support, or accept the risk deliberately. What each one costs and when it makes sense is in Angular end of support: upgrade, pay or accept the risk.
